President’s Welcome

On behalf of the brothers of the Zeta Chapter, I would like to welcome you to the official website of Phi Chi Theta here at Boston University. I encourage you to explore our website and learn more about our story and our brothers that make up the Zeta Chapter.

Our chapter holds a passionate set of individuals who have come together to foster a community of brotherhood, growth, and success. Each and every brother is unique in their own way, coming from all around the world and all walks of life. We’ve leveraged our combined unique experiences to build a platform that aids in personal and professional development for everyone, no matter their backgrounds or interests.

My experience as a brother of Phi Chi Theta has undeniably shaped my college experience in remarkable ways. Not only have I developed valuable skills that further my career, but I’ve also made lifelong friendships that extend beyond just a professional network. Being surrounded by such ambitious, caring, and intelligent individuals have inspired me in more ways than one. I am consistently impressed by the commitment of our brothers to support each other and strive for professional excellence.

I am honored to lead such an incredible organization and look forward to the coming semesters. Thank you for your interest in PCT and feel free to explore our website to learn more about who we are, what we do, and how you can join through our upcoming Spring recruitment. If you have any questions about Phi Chi Theta, please do not hesitate to email us at pct.bostonu@gmail.com or reach out via social media.

Sincerely,
Danielle Hsieh | President

ZETA CHAPTER

The Brotherhood Revitalized

Phi Chi Theta is a national co-educational business fraternity founded on June 16, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. Founded by six women, Phi Chi Theta was formed from the merging of two competing business fraternities, Phi Theta Kappa and Phi Kappa Epsilon. With over 20,000 members and alumni across the country, Phi Chi Theta continues to expand. Phi Chi Theta is a member of and affiliated with the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Professional Fraternity Association (PFA), and the College Fraternity Editors Association (CFEA).

As one of the eight original founding chapters of the national fraternity, Phi Chi Theta Zeta was originally chartered at Boston University in the 1920s. After disbanding in the 1970s, a team of 11 students met in 2014 with the mission of reactivating the local founding chapter. Today, Phi Chi Theta Zeta has over 60 members, all with the mission of leveraging their professional careers to provide positive social change to the world around them. Open to all majors and minors, Phi Chi Theta is leading the way for innovative and forward-minded students to come together to develop their professional interests. With an emphasis on technology, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility, Phi Chi Theta is a unique addition to the professional fraternity scene on campus.
