PRESIDENT’S WELCOME
Fall 2025 Recruitment

On behalf of the Zeta Chapter members, I would like to welcome you to the official website of Phi Chi Theta at Boston University! I encourage you to explore our website, connect with members through coffee chats, and learn more about our chapter’s story and the members who make up the Zeta Chapter.

Our chapter is made up of passionate and compassionate individuals who foster a community of brotherhood, growth, and success. Each brother comes from a unique background and experience from all over the world with the common goal of success and personal growth. We leverage are combined unique business, computer science, communications, and other experiences to build a community that supports each other in personal and professional development at Boston University.

As someone who was originally a film major and knew nothing of business coming into Boston University, Phi Chi Theta has not only helped me develop professionally by learning how to effectively network, write resumes and cover letters, get interview offers, ace different types of interviews, collaborate with others, think critically about business concepts, but also personally as a leader and person on campus. Phi Chi Theta has helped me advance my career on and off campus by helping me win consulting case competitions, get resume advice, find a mentorship program, and find a friendly and hard-working community on campus. Being surrounded by driven individuals who strive for similar success levels at famous companies has inspired me to push myself further and reach new heights.

Through shared experiences and interests, we have cultivated a strong support system that extends beyond our chapter and college life. From finance and tech to filmmaking and STEM, our alumni network spans various industries and locations, providing invaluable resources and mentorship for our current brothers as they navigate their academic and professional journeys.

As the current president of the Zeta Chapter, I am proud of all the accomplishments achieved by our members and their humility, and joining this fraternity has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life so far. Thank you for your interest in Phi Chi Theta. I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our chapter, events, and how you can join our community. If you have any questions, please contact us at pct.bostonu@gmail.com or on social media. Thanks!

Sincerely,
Brandon David | President

ZETA CHAPTER HISTORY
The Brotherhood Revitalized

Phi Chi Theta is a national co-educational business fraternity founded on June 16, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. Founded by six women, Phi Chi Theta was formed from the merging of two competing business fraternities, Phi Theta Kappa and Phi Kappa Epsilon. With over 20,000 members and alumni across the country, Phi Chi Theta continues to expand. Phi Chi Theta is a member of and affiliated with the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Professional Fraternity Association (PFA), and the College Fraternity Editors Association (CFEA).

As one of the eight original founding chapters of the national fraternity, Phi Chi Theta Zeta was originally chartered at Boston University in the 1920s. After disbanding in the 1970s, a team of 11 students met in 2014 with the mission of reactivating the local founding chapter. Today, Phi Chi Theta Zeta has over 60 members, all with the mission of leveraging their professional careers to provide positive social change to the world around them. Open to all majors and minors, Phi Chi Theta is leading the way for innovative and forward-minded students to come together to develop their professional interests. With an emphasis on technology, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility, Phi Chi Theta is a unique addition to the professional fraternity scene on campus.
